Stormin’ Weather
Been an interesting week or so with storms. Got floods in Iowa, earthquakes in Japan and China and thunderstorms like mad around my area.
Right now as I type getting yet another one, this will be the fourth or fifth storm so far this week alone. Supposed to get like two more tomorrow and wednesday. Two of the past ones caused a few hours altogether of power outages as well. The rain on saturday was insane, driveway became a river basically and you couldn’t see out a hundred feet before the mist and rain blocked your vision.. at only 5 pm in the afternoon.
Well here’s to hoping my power doesn’t go out for once. I really hate having to shut everything down, then back up. Life is crap without electricity anymore, not much you can do in the modern world.
Guess I’ll sit back and enjoy this storm.

yeah wow, it stormed really bad here last night. The lightning and thunder were intense (I actually got scared *L*). I was too afraid to come online after what happened last time. And on the weather channel it showed thunder storms like that for the week. Sometimes it changes though…so I’m hoping it will.
I feel so bad for those people going through all that crap. ugh…

yeah it got pretty intense for a few minutes last night. lol Got about uhhh pellet-sized hail. My weather widgets are showing storms for today, tomorrow and thursday. lol
and yeah, People are getting hit with different stuff all over right now. Oo I can’t feel TOO bad for people who build their houses RIGHT on water fronts on in water planes. Common sense dictates that is bad. ugh lol
Just like getting a trailer home in a tornado zone. *hits head*

and yeah, I hear what you are saying about the trailers (lol ugh). But still….the kids (not their fault *L*). I was watching some of it on the news last night and the kids…ugh.

blah the poor kids get stuck in the crossfire of retarded parents. I hate stupid parents. lol
wow it lasted maybe 30 minutes here, it rained really hard for a few minutes on and off and thundered a bit. The thundering really wasn’t that close though.
I’m just glad I didn’t have to shut everything off. ugh lol

lol you have no idea. Gotta run through the house, shut off all the computers, then shut off my server so it doesn’t suck up the battery, then wait to see if the power will come on again real quick and if not shut my desktop down… then run around shutting off the beeping batteries because they aren’t needed anymore. It’s a chore!
ugh and then getting everything back up.. it’s not hard, just annoying to do. lol

It was like that over here about a couple of weeks ago. Stormy weather…. love it when I’m at home, but totally hate it when I gotta go out

Yeah it’s been pretty nasty here. It’s finally gotten down to just raining very early in the mornings though. *Supposed* to get storms today though according to the weather people.
Never trust them though. lol
