American Idol - 5/07/08 Elimination

I just caught Fox News and they showed results for viewer call-ins. They asked people to vote on who they thought should go home tomorrow night and 74% voted for Jason Castro.
Here is what everyone sang:
- Jason Castro: “I Shot the Sherriff” by Bob Marley and “Mr. Tambourine Man” by Bod Dylan
- Syesha Mercado: “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner and “A Change is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke
- David Archuleta: “Stand by Me” by Ben E King and “Love Me Tender” by Elvis
- David Cook: “Hungry Like The Wolf” by Duran Duran and “Baby O’Riley” by Duran Duran
Hopefully Jason will be going home. Even Simon told him (during his critique) to “pack your bags“. He really did awful tonight. More than usual I mean. He forgot the lyrics (for the second song) and looked so out of place for “Rock and Roll” night. Jason is more of a mellow kinda guy and he did not look comfortable. When he was up there performing he was moving his arms around, kinda bouncing, and trying to act like a rocker (first song), but it looked more like he was a puppet and someone was working the strings (but doing it wrong). I almost had to leave the room I was so embarrassed for him.
[ edit: Jason supposedly mouthed the words "Don't Vote" after he sang. I need to watch the video again and see it. But it mentions it in this article. If he did say it then He Sucks (well, sucks more now. I thought he sucked before.). ]
Syesha was sexay. (lol) I feel funny saying that because I’m a woman, but it was obvious even to me. Randy was drooling and gave her a great critique. I even called in and voted for her several times. I really hope she doesn’t get booted off before Jason. THAT would be so wrong.
David A. and David C. did good, as usual. Although the judges did praise David A. the most (even Simon).
I really hope David C. wins this thing. Not only is he a great singer but he has stage presence. David A. sings great but he’s still young and needs some work. David C. has that advantage over him, I think.

My GOD Jason SUCKS. lol WHY oh WHY is he still in this? Forgetting lyrics at THIS point?? Come on! Absolutely atrocious performance, even worse than other ones which I didn’t think was possible.
Syesha seems to slowly be getting better each night. Her and the Davids definitely belong in the top three without a doubt. I’m going to be very upset if those three aren’t the ones left.
I just want Jason gone, it is pathetic he is still in the competition. No talent, horrible voice, is boring, forgets lyrics… come on. Enough is enough. lol

When you looked at Yahoo did you see the ones posting questions about him and how they love him? UGH…wth. Are they tone deaf? (lol)
and yeah, syesha does seem to get better and better. If she goes before jason i will be in such a pissy mood (watch out haha)
hmm…forgot to look for the vid of jason messing up. Or did you and it’s not out yet?

I can’t view videos on this laptop. lol You’ll have to find that. I want my other one back.
Yeah I’ll be pissed off too if Jason survives beyond any of these three people. He has to go. Don’t get pissy and take it out on me though! lol
The people on yahoo, they’re absolute idiots. lol Plain and simple. They don’t care about the singing, just looks. Friggen morons. lol
