American Idol 4/30/08 Follow-Up
SO who else is glad that Brooke White is finally gone?
Since we’ve started blogging about Idol’s Elimination Night we’ve never done a post for the day after and our reactions. We usually end up commented about it in the post itself from the night before. But today I am just so damn happy that Brooke is finally gone that I can’t help myself and I want to write a post.
Yes, Brooke White was finally eliminated on last night’s show. I really thought Syesha was going to get the boot, and I was surprised when Brooke’s name was announced. She immediately burst into tears. In a way I felt bad for her…but yet…wow. It’s about damn time. (I wonder if she even knows a lot of people wanted her off the show. Does she ever see posts like this one? Does she know some people were voting for her just to keep the worst on Idol because they hate the show?)
I don’t hate the woman. She just got terribly annoying for outlasting people who sang much, much better than her.
Now there is Jason Castro.
We get a lot of traffic on Idol nights. A recent search I noticed was “Why isn’t Jason gone yet”. Good question. The answer is quite simple though: He’s still around because he has a lot of little girls drooling over him, and he is now the target for Idol Haters. They will be voting for him now, hoping to keep the worst one in for as long as they can, to make it annoying for us people who actually like the show. I guess that makes it more interesting? But will Jason get the boot before Syesha?
AND what did Ryan S. mean when he mentioned being online and reading about Paula AND saying all the rumors weren’t true? Apparently some people think Paula is loopy and she takes ’something’ before the show. Tuesday night she though Jason sang twice when he only sang once…which didn’t help those rumors that are already floating around I guess. Paula seemed a bit surprised when Ryan mentioned it. Guess it took a few seconds to register? haha Poor Paula.
Whatever though. Next week’s show should be very interesting and I can’t wait to see how it goes.

*raises hand* Very glad Brooke is gone, she should off been gone weeks ago though. Same for Jason as well.
I hate it how they cry, I mean, how can this absolutely be the worst thing out there that they have to be in tears and such? They’re still gonna tour the country and most likely get tons of related job offers. Just suck it up. Wimps. (lmao)
Jason is truly the Sanjaya of this year. He is really terrible but yet, still here in the top four. Someone take him out already.
I really dunno what to say about Paula anymore. She is really ‘out there.’ The fact she was *certain* that Jason sang twice is just bad. lol I still think that she just wanted it to be over. lmao

looks like you and I are the only ones that are glad she is gone. haha
yeah, they do cry a lot on this show don’t they. Weird. They do it even when they are auditioning and don’t get picked to move on to the next level. That’s kind of odd to me. Even the people who are toned deaf cry. lol

The crying really gets old. lol Especially for the early auditions, I mean come ON. lol The tone-deaf people are just… pathetic. lol

I kind of miss that part (the auditions in the beginning). You have to admit that part is pretty funny. *L*
I can’t believe the show is almost over though. What do we concentrate on next? Hell’s Kitchen? *L*

That is the funniest and most entertaining part. lol
hmmmmmm we could do Hell’s Kitchen. That show is much better than Idol I think. lol
