Friday night someone broke into my neighbor’s house and it’s really freaking me out. They live right across the street from me, just a stone’s throw away. Way too close for something like this to happen (I can’t imagine how freaked out they must be).

All I know about it is it happened around 10:30 pm, and they came home to find all their lights on. I have no idea what else happened, but I’m sure I’ll find out something soon (I really need to go over there and talk with them). My dog has been barking the past couples of nights too, but I shrugged it off thinking it was just an animal or something. Besides, I live in a nice neighborhood, in the country. Nothing bad has ever or could ever happen here, right? (WRONG!).

I don’t know how many times I’ve gone out during the day and left my doors unlocked. I guess I wont be doing that anymore. So much for feeling safe, eh?

Now I’m wondering if anyone was looking in my windows (I never close my shades). What a creepy feeling that is. I’ve joked about my psycho stalker doing that, since she follows me around online all the time and is constantly at our page here. Something like, “She watches me so_much I’m surprised she isn’t camped outside my window“. But this is way too real.

I don’t feel safe anymore and it sucks. Online and now Off line.

Well, I figured it was time I finally took the torch from bren and did a little caturday post. Just a little side note, these pictures aren’t all from the same day. They are spread out over a couple months.

Was just looking through my photos of Fig, and I must say he is quite the lazy feline. Almost all my pictures involve him either sleeping, resting, sitting or doing nothing at all. No action shots, no playing, no activity.

All he seems to do is sleep, sleep some more, eat, use the litter box and, you guessed it, sleep some more. Once in awhile he does quirk out and go into kitty-rage mode where they freak out at specks of dust on the floor. Sometimes he’ll come flying out of the basement making the door slam shut, thus requiring someone to open it so he can get his ass back down there.

Only two things can get him moving, and fast. The first one is this fabric tail on a stick. He loves it so much he forgets the laws of physics and will roll off the edge of a bed while going after it.

The second, is the prospect of food. If he thinks he has any chance of getting food, he is more alert than a teenager cranking on coffee. He begs like a dog as well at the dinner table. He’ll get annoying in the kitchen, put his paws up to the counter top. He has a real long stretch, I measured his full outreach from rear to front paws at over four feet; so he can easily reach the counter top.

In this last photo here, that is actually my leg on the right side of the photo. He originally started out sleeping on his gut and side. I slowly moved my leg over more and more which slowly rotated him into the finally position. He did’t complain, I’m not even sure he woke up. He also stayed like that for a good while after the initial rotation.

Man, I absolutely love South Park. Ever since it started in August of 1997, I’ve been hooked. Ten years of four little boys with potty mouthes entertaining me. It is straight up toilet humor and combined with political, religious satire and no one or thing is safe from them.

Call me childish if you want for liking it. To me though, there is no other show that can be so tasteless but find such a perfect balance with the tastelessness and actual comedy. You can’t watch this show with a proverbial stick up your butt.

You gotta lighten up and not take it seriously. If they make fun of you or something you believe in, just laugh at it with everyone else and don’t get upset over nothing.

It’s also awesome how up-to-date their content can be. They pump out episodes in less than a week, usually working on it right before the night it shows so it is possible for them to keep it fresh to current events.

My favorite character has go to be Kenny. He’s got one extremely foul mouth underneath that orange parka. If you ever read some of the ‘translations’ of what he says, it is enough to make most people blush. Even the original opening credits where it is Kenny’s turn to sing he had some interesting things to say.

In a way Kenny reminds me of Tom from Tom & Jerry or Wile E Coyote due to the amount of physical abuse they take time and time again; however Wile and Tom never got killed… but I digress.

Ten years later, eleven seasons later, and the show is still satisfying for me. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are geniuses of comedy. I hope this show continues for a good few more years. I don’t want it to end as long as they keep doing what they do.
